About Linda
Linda has always been very crafty, throughout her life. If it wasn’t painting by numbers, and making soft toys, it was building intricate dolls houses from kit form.
When she decided to start a business, it took her a while to consider laser engraving. It was only a chance chat with her brother that planted the idea in her head.
She learnt about laser engraving and the software used to create the designs and practised on many different materials. She likes the accuracy of the laser as you can plan the design to a millimetre.
Linda launched Lilac Laser Engraved Gifts, which was initially aimed more at the business marketing, but due to Covid, Linda decided to reinvent the business and include personalised gifts and Made by Me Gift was born.
Having learned loads of new skills and techniques, Linda focuses on making people happy when they receive their gifts.
